Advanced Chiropractic and Disc Care in Princeton NJ

Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic brings together chiropractic, spinal decompression, SoftWave therapy, and a full suite of other next-level services under one roof in Princeton NJ. If you have been told to manage your pain and live with it, Dr. Manish Sojitra would like to show you another option.

“We aren’t your typical chiropractic office. We built a practice around cutting edge technology and treatment options that go far beyond a standard adjustment, addressing problems most patients didn’t know a chiropractor could even help with.” – Dr. Sojitra

Patients Travel From All Over for This Level of Care

Dr. Sojitra doesn’t treat symptoms in isolation. Every care plan starts by understanding the nervous system, brain, and biological conditions driving your pain — then addresses root causes, not surface-level relief.

Why Patients Choose Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic

Most people who walk through our doors have already tried other chiropractors, physical therapy, or injections. Some have even been told surgery is their only option. What they haven’t had is someone look at the full picture: the nervous system, the brain, the structure, and the specific biological conditions driving their pain.

That is what Dr. Sojitra does. Every tool in this office was chosen to support actual healing, not just short-term relief. Every care plan starts with understanding what is actually wrong before recommending anything.

Brain & Spine

Dr. Sojitra evaluates the six systems of the brain and nervous system to identify what the body needs to reset and heal not just where it hurts.

Meet Dr. Manish Sojitra

Dr. Manish Sojitra’s approach at Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic has been shaped by more than 17 years of clinical experience, advanced training, and his own experience with a serious disc injury. His search to understand why his injury occurred led him to study multiple chiropractic systems, ultimately developing the Manish Method: an approach built on Zone Technique, enhanced with advanced diagnostics and regenerative technologies to improve patient outcomes.

“Most chiropractors focus on only one technique. I developed my own method through countless treatments so that my patients get the absolute best results possible.” – Dr. Sojitra

A chiropractor adjusts a male patient's lower back as the patient lies face down on a chiropractic table in a clinic.

Chiropractic Care and Zone Technique

Zone Technique is the foundation of Dr. Sojitra’s care. By palpating six points on the skull, he identifies neurological stress within the body and adjusts specific spinal segments to help restore balance. He uses a variety of chiropractic techniques based on patient comfort and treats the spine, extremities, ribs, and other joints for a comprehensive approach to care.

Spinal Decompression - DRX9000 and Cervical DTS

The DRX9000 and Chattanooga Triton DTS are computer-controlled spinal decompression systems that reduce pressure on damaged discs and support healing. These relaxing, non-surgical treatments help improve disc health, reduce pain, and promote recovery in both the spine and neck.

SoftWave Therapy

SoftWave uses electrohydraulic shockwave technology to stimulate blood flow, activate healing cells, break down scar tissue, and support tissue regeneration. Unlike many radial pulse devices, it can safely treat bone, joints, and deeper structures. Dr. Sojitra was among the first providers in New Jersey to offer this advanced therapy.

Shockwave Therapy (E-PAT)

The E-PAT by Storz is a radial pulse therapy device a different category from SoftWave, better suited to tendon and soft tissue conditions closer to the surface. Dr. Sojitra offers both because different conditions call for different tools. Chronic tendinopathies, trigger points, and surface-level soft tissue conditions often respond well to the E-PAT. Deep joint structures, bone, and cellular-level tissue regeneration get SoftWave.

Knee Decompression

Knee decompression physically separates joint surfaces to reduce bone-on-bone pressure, improve cartilage lubrication, and restore nutrient flow into the joint. Sessions run seven to ten minutes and are almost always combined with SoftWave and EMTT as part of Dr. Sojitra’s knee protocol. Safe for virtually all knee conditions including post-surgical knees at least six months after replacement.

Cranial Facial Release

Cranial Facial Release (CFR) uses specialized balloons inserted through the nasal passages to mobilize cranial bones and improve nervous system function. Combined with intraoral cranial work it addresses areas traditional spinal adjustments cannot reach. Patients often travel long distances to receive this specialized treatment from Dr. Sojitra.

Cold Laser Therapy

The Euchronia GVL targets all four mitochondrial complexes involved in cellular energy production not just the single complex standard cold laser reaches. Combined with the Avant system, the result is a more complete photobiomodulation response: deeper tissue healing, better inflammation control, and longer-lasting results. Used for neurological conditions, joint inflammation, disc cases, concussion recovery, TMJ, and post-surgical healing – almost always as part of a combined protocol.

EMTT - Magnetolith

EMTT uses the Storz Magnetolith to deliver a pulsed magnetic field at the cellular level charging mitochondrial energy production, activating stem cells, and driving regeneration in tissue that has stopped responding to surface-level treatment. Where SoftWave delivers acoustic energy from outside the cell, EMTT works from within. Combined, the regenerative effect is greater than either produces alone. Dr. Sojitra was among the first 15 providers in the country to offer it when it became available in 2020.

NeuFit Therapy

NeuFit uses direct current that mirrors the nervous system’s own signaling fundamentally different from the alternating current in standard e-stim units. Where standard e-stim blocks pain signals, NeuFit moves the nervous system from protection mode into functional mode, rebuilding neuromuscular pathways that injury and chronic pain disrupt. Particularly effective for patients whose pain has resolved but whose function and range of motion have not fully returned.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) delivers oxygen under increased pressure, helping it reach tissues with limited circulation. This supports tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and enhances the effectiveness of other treatments. Dr. Sojitra commonly uses HBOT for neurological conditions, post-concussion recovery, and complex cases requiring comprehensive healing support.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Most practices start treating you on Day 1. Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic does not. Day 1 is entirely dedicated to understanding what is going on because Dr. Sojitra will not recommend a care plan until he knows what he is looking at.

DAY 1: Discovery

You will complete paperwork in advance or at the office 15 minutes early. From there, Dr. Sojitra conducts a full consultation covering your history, goals, past treatments, and expectations, followed by a neurological exam using Zone Technique analysis, a gravity-based assessment, and orthopedic and palpation findings. Depending on what he observes, he may also take digital motion analysis X-rays, perform medical-grade thermography, and run a Nerve Express autonomic nervous system assessment. Day 1 typically runs 45 to 60 minutes. In 95% of cases, no treatment is delivered that day but every scenario is unique.

DAY 2: The plan

Day 2 is when everything comes together. Dr. Sojitra reviews every finding, explains what he found in plain terms, and presents his full recommendations which services, how often, for how long, and what the financial structure looks like. You decide what you want to do. If you are ready to proceed, care begins that day.

This isn’t a typical adjust and leave clinic. We take an extraordinarily thorough evaluation and cater a gameplan back to health specifically for you.

Most of the patients Dr. Sojitra works with did not find him on their first try. They found him after other options ran out or after another provider told them to manage their expectations. If that sounds familiar, it is worth one conversation to find out whether any of the tools in this office apply to what you are dealing with.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?
Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic is an out-of-network practice. Insurance is not billed directly, and care plans are never shaped by what a carrier will approve. Patients with PPO plans may submit their own claims for potential partial reimbursement using a superbill provided by the office. Payment options and details are reviewed in full at the Day 2 visit, before care begins.
Do I get treated on my first visit?

In 95% of cases, no, and that is intentional. Dr. Sojitra usually likes to understand the full picture before providing treatment. Day 1 is a thorough consultation, neurological exam, and diagnostic session. Day 2 is when Dr. Sojitra presents findings, walks through recommendations, and begins to care if you are ready to proceed.

What makes this practice different from a regular chiropractor?
Most chiropractors adjust based on where the pain is. Dr. Sojitra evaluates the nervous system using Zone Technique to identify which systems are under stress, then builds a care plan using tools like DRX9000 decompression, SoftWave, EMTT, cold laser, NeuFit, and Cranial Facial Release based on what each patient actually needs.
What is SoftWave therapy, and how is it different from shockwave?
SoftWave is the original electrohydraulic technology shockwave is based on, using the same lithotripsy mechanism found in hospitals, calibrated for tissue regeneration. The radial pulse devices most clinics call shockwave are a different and significantly less powerful technology. Dr. Sojitra offers both and knows when each is the right choice.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring any imaging you have, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, along with a list of medications and a summary of prior treatments. If paperwork was not completed in advance, arrive 15 minutes early.
Still have questions? We are happy to help.
